It is the mission of the Crosby Township Center to strive to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the Seniors we serve. Through our programming and services we hope to promote wellness within our community, foster a sense of independence and self-worth, enhance the quality of life for all, and promote a positive image of aging.
The Senior Club welcomes new members with an annual fee of $10. They receive monthly newsletters chocked full of activities and updates. Join today! The Senior Club meets the second Tuesday each month for lunch at a local restaurant at 11:30am then return to the Senior Center for their monthly business meeting and BINGO!
This is an excellent
activity for everyone to enjoy friendships and light exercise. Typically,
practice happens twice a week on Tuesday at 12:30pm and Friday 10:00am at
the Senior Center. The “Aces” Volleyball team is a member of the Hamilton
County Chair Volleyball League. The league season runs from April to October
and games are played at different centers in Hamilton County.
Seniors bowl every Tuesday morning at 9:30am at the Senior Center. No heavy bowling balls to lift! Four people "bowl" at a time and you can bowl standing or sitting.
“A NIGHT OUT”
Seniors enjoy fellowship and good food! They meet monthly at interesting restaurants at 5:00pm. This is a great time to make new friends and deepen relationships with conversation, laughter, and food!
Genealogy Classes are offered periodically based on interest level at the Center. They are taught by our own Jim Innis who is our resident expert!
